France is a country that inspires. Whether it's art, music, fashion or even love, a trip to France inspires. It's a place that will provide a memorable vacation for the young and old, for all budgets and for all interests. It truly is a remarkable country to visit, so I am presenting you with a 3 part hotel series which I hope inspires you to consider this stunning destination for your next trip. For this hotel review, I'm starting with The City of Lights, Paris.
Located steps from the Louvre, the Hotel Regina is an excellent option to call home for your Parisian vacation. One of the most important aspects of the hotel is the location. The hotel is directly across the street from the Louvre. Leave the hotel, cross the street and you're there. That's pretty great, but it's more than just the Louvre. Right across the street in front of the Louvre and continuing until you reach Champs-Elysees, is the Tuileries Garden. This amazing green space, which runs along the Seine River, is the perfect place to unwind after a day walking through the City. If you have kids, it's an excellent place to let them have some space. I can't get over what a huge plus the park is, a walkway to start your walk to the Eiffel Tower or to the Arc di Triumph, both under 2 miles from the Hotel. If you decide on heading to Notre Dame, it's just over one mile the opposite direction, past the Louvre.
Due to the location along the perimeter of the Garden, the hotel offers some prime vistas. The room options at the Regina are broken into Rooms and Suites. The Room options include: Superior Room - This room offers views of the Louvre, the hotel's patio or the courtyard. It's comparable in size to a US standard hotel room at 215 sqft. The capacity is 1 adult. The Deluxe Room offers 270 sqft of space and accommodates 2 adults. The views include can include the Tuileries Garden as well as the views listed in the Superior option. The Family Room option is essentially 2 connected bedrooms. It provides two bathrooms and enough space for 4 adults. The Prestige Room is for 2 adults, but provides a larger space than the other rooms, at 377 sqft. For the Suites, there are 6 options to chose from. The Junior Suite is a large space 430 sqft that can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child (under 12) These rooms have courtyard views. The Junior Suite Tour Eiffel offers guarantees views of the Eiffel Tower. The suites accommodate 2 adults in 430 sqft of space. The Family Suite is a great option for families to enjoy more space. The room has bunk beds in a separate living space as well as a large living area. The 484sqft room has views of the Parisian rooftops and accommodates 2 adults and 2 children (under 12). The Prestige Suite is huge at 646sqft and accommodates 3 adults You'll have courtyard views. The Eiffel Tower Suite is amazing. As the name implies, you'll have amazing views of the Eiffel Tower. The room accommodates 2 adults and 1 child (under 12). The Parisian Suite is huge at 1,260 sqft. It's big enough for 4 adults and 3 children. The Suite includes a bunk bed, panoramic views over the city and a terrace with a view. Absolutely spectacular.
