When I go on vacation, I usually take a lot of equipment with me. One of the must haves is a compact, all-in-one camera. Something that can give me amazing photos as well as video. There’s times where I’m out with my family and I just want something to throw into my pocket. Here’s a few cameras out there that I would highly recommend.

If you need something with wicked fast auto focus and 4k video, give this one a try. With 20.1 Megapixels, the images have great clarity. It’s light weight (only 10 oz.) and it can shoot up to 960 fps. When talking about brands, I’ve always loved Sony.
Ricoh GR II Digital Camera
Want clear, crisp images at an affordable price? Try the Ricoh. You'll be able to shot at full HD, and it is very light.
This is a more budget friendly option from Sony. The features are very close to the RX 100V, and only slightly larger. 12.8MP 4/3" MOS sensor which allows for greater depth of field and will allow you to outperform many cameras in low light situations.
Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200
A great option from Panasonic. You’ll be able to shot 4K video, enjoy 20.1 megapixels and performs well in low light situations. This camera is durable and would make a great companion while you explore the world.
Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II
This is the smallest and lightest option on the list. I love Canons. I have a larger Canon right now for most of my pictures, but I also still have a compact Canon from way back in the day. I think it’s about 10 years old, and it still works great. With the G9, you’re going to get a camera that’s not only compact, but one that you’ll be able to depend on for several years.
Leica D-LUX (Typ 109)
While the price might be a little up there, there’s a lot you get from this camera.
Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III
For me, this is the more stylish camera. It just looks old school to me, like you should be taking a picture of the Eiffel tower. It has amazing stabilization in order to achieve blur free pics and perfect 4K video. If you’re looking to record action videos on vacation (maybe running with the bulls?) this camera captures 120 fps in HD.
